An exciting opportunity has arisen for an administrator to join the Regional Posture and Mobility team at West Midlands Rehabilitation Centre.
Working with both Clinical staff and the existing administration team, you will be involved with contributing to the provision of a comprehensive administration service. You will be a focused and motivated individual with an eye for detail and the ability to work well under pressure. High levels of organisation skills will be required with good IT skills and the ability to learn patient and equipment record systems.
As part of this role, you will be required to liaise with patients, carers, and external agencies. The ability to remain calm and be empathetic when dealing with these queries, some of which will be from patients who have a range of complex disabilities, is essential.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide administrative support to the patient pathway process, ensuring information is recorded timely and accurately.
2. Monitor the NHS inbox and respond or escalate all emails into the service in a timely manner.
3. Schedule patients' clinic appointments, domiciliary visits, and non-face to face activity, booking them on RIO and sending relevant information.
4. Record activity and appointment outcomes including discharges and Did Not Attends (DNAs).
5. Raise and complete complex equipment orders.
6. Deal with telephone inquiries/queries received into the service ensuring any messages are communicated timely and accurately.
7. Update identified Microsoft Outlook calendars, which may be shared or belong to individuals.
