The Role:
As a Geography Teacher, you will inspire and engage students at both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, delivering high-quality lessons that encourage students to think critically about the world around them. You will have the opportunity to develop exciting, thought-provoking lessons, promote geographical skills, and help students build an appreciation for global issues and the environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver outstanding Geography lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Create a positive, engaging, and supportive classroom environment.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to help them improve.
Contribute to the development of the Geography department and the wider school community.
Participate in school events, trips, and extracurricular activities that enhance the students' learning experience.The Ideal Candidate:
A qualified Geography Teacher with a passion for your subject.
Experience teaching Geography at Key Stage 3 and 4 (experience with Key Stage 5 is a bonus but not essential).
Oversees applications are welcomed (school is able to sponsor)
Strong communication skills and the ability to engage students of varying abilities.
Organised, with excellent time management skills and a commitment to continuous professional development.
