Location: Dependent on current base site, with potential for across site working, both Isle of Wight NHS Trust and Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust (frequency of visits to each site, to be agreed locally).
This role is joining the busy People Services team providing a comprehensive employee service to ensure records are accurately maintained and enquiries from managers, payroll and staff are efficiently and professionally dealt with. The role will also assist where required in the administration of parental leave, professional registration, rights to work and annual assessments and any audits as required. Smartcard administration and production also form part of this role.
You will be a self-starter with initiative who is able to work closely as part of a team, and is self-motivated to work independently when required to complete work as necessary. Queries will be escalated where appropriately and your support to resolve these will be expected.

Provide a comprehensive service to the organisations, ensuring timely effective administration of all aspects of an employee’s employment, maintaining their electronic record and personal file.
Input and action as appropriately all changes to an employee’s employment record, advising on terms and conditions, issuing correspondence as required including confirmation of employment.
Create and issue Smart Cards to all authorised users in compliance with the national guidance on access.
Thesingle corporate serviceisdelivered across bothorganisation. You may be based at either IWT or PHU andindividuals maybe requiredto undertake business travel between sites.For leaders managing staff across multi-site locations,youwill need to be visible and provide in person leadership. The arrangements and frequency will be agreed locally.
