Job Advertisement Overview I am currently supporting a leading Precision engineering organisation, responsible to key contributions within the Motor sport and F1 industry, with their search for a CNC Machinist with experience with offline CAM programming, Heidenhein controls and night shift working. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC milling machines for high-precision component production. Program, edit, and optimize machining processes using Heidenhain controls. Work with advanced materials like carbon fiber to create components for industries such as motorsport. Perform quality checks to ensure components meet strict specifications and tolerances. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and optimize machining processes. Use Visi machining CAM software for offline programming. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols. Qualifications Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with expertise in CNC milling and 5-axis machining. Proficiency in programming and operating machines using Heidenhain controls. Strong understanding of blueprint reading and GD&T. Experience machining motor sport parts and working with carbon fiber components is advantageous. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. CAM Offline programming is extremely important, the preferred programming is Visi Vero Day-to-day The shift times give the option of either 10 or 12 hour shift Monday to Thursday. Start times are between 16:30pm and 8am Benefits Competitive hourly rate of £17-£22 per hour £5 shift allowance 20 days annual leave.
