Reporting to the: Purchasing & Inventory Manager
This individual will provide direction, instructions, and guidance to the Stores Team for all day-to-day tasks, such as but not limited to; goods-in process (including inspection/NCR), pick, pack & issuing process for both production and sales orders, dispatch of goods, stock control & accuracy. Working closely with other departments within the business. They will be professional, pro-active, and personable across the business, putting the customer at the forefront. They will use their leadership skills in a role that requires flexibility, initiative, and resilience to the pressure of balancing workload and time scales. The individual goal is to embed our Fortress Technology values into all team members while leading by example. You will be overseeing the stores team day-to-day duties/tasks, ensuring a cooperative teamwork ethic is fostered throughout. Collaboration is key in achieving our targets. The individual must have attention to detail with a desire to improve processes and efficiency.

1. Applying Health & Safety policies

Stores Efficiency
1. Issuing of components for manufacture in kit form
2. Pick & pack sales orders, both Spares and finished goods
3. Goods-in deliveries to be checked, inspected and recorded prior to storing
4. Following NCR Process
5. Organise/schedule Stores Operatives workload
6. Ad hoc projects as needed
7. Adapting for changes in priority/products & processes
8. Accurate Stock management
9. Housekeeping
Leadership
1. Ensure all Fortress behaviours are adhered to
2. Working with the Purchasing Manager to set SMART Objectives for each team member
3. Carry out Bi-annual performance management reviews
4. Manage training & development for the team
5. Manage team workloads and absences to ensure a good balance is kept at all times
6. Motivate and update all team members with regular business updates
7. All aspects of People Management to follow correct set processes

Working Conditions
* Working Monday to Friday, 8.45am to 4.45pm
