Job summary Mendip Vale Medical are looking for further Clinical Coders to join our Sunnyside team, as we expand in our friendly and innovative practices serving over 85,000 patients within our 10 sites in North Somerset, Bristol & South Gloucester. As a Scanner and Coder you will assist and in the processing clinical documents to ensure that the appropriate care can be provided to patients in a timely, efficient and effective way. Main duties of the job Working as part of the on site team (this role is not remote) the post-holder will assist in the processing of clinical documents. The post holder will be responsible for the accurate recording of paper, electronic and result documents into clinical records, including the coding of data and identification of relevant processing requirements in accordance with the Practice Read Coding Protocol.
