Our client are an innovative firm of chartered accountants and over the last 5 years have experienced exponential growth resulting in their current presence as one of the largest independent firms across Central Scotland. Reporting into the Accounts Senior, this is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Accounts Assistant to join a well-established team within a reputable firm that will offer significant scope for both professional development and career progression. On a day to day basis your responsibilities will include: - Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. - Support with the preparation of tax returns. - Preparation of VAT returns. - Maintain direct contact with clients and resolve queries that arise day to day. - Use of multiple finance packages including Xero, Sage, Iris, CCH and Quickbooks - with full training provided.
