Broaden your experience creating and managing processes from scratch, as we implement a new enterprise management system – Maximo. You can be a catalyst for change and an influencer to the largest business unit in National Grid’s Electricity Transmission business.
Your role as Business Process Architect will be responsible for the drafting of end to end (E2E) process modelling using Blue Works for our Asset Operations (AO) business unit. The Asset Operations business maintains the high voltage electricity network in England and Wales which includes c.4,500 miles of overhead lines, 900 miles of underground cable and more than 300 substations. Not used Blue Works? Don’t worry we’ll train you.
You’ll operate along our business transformation team and provide process mapping and design process architecture for asset maintenance processes. These new processes will assist AO to replace assets and maintain the electricity transmission network, creating new management systems to achieve operational excellence. You’ll engage with the business to ensure that the processes, systems and capabilities are fit for purpose.
Key Requirements
We want you to showcase your process mapping and process architecture skills and experience, with use of process management methodologies. You can create and monitor a process performance system that helps us to understand the health of our processes and value streams. You’ll be highly competent with Microsoft Office Apps. Engage and manage stakeholders with different perspectives and personalities to build lasting relationships. Problem solving – be a solution provider.
You are an ambitious individual with an outstanding eye for process detail and highly developed communication skills. Not only will you possess the ability to process large amounts of data, but you will also be highly organised with a structured, pragmatic and flexible approach.
Pay and Benefits
* Starting salary of £52,972 to £65,000 pa + Benefits package + Training and Development.
