Woodgreen are looking for a Pet Matching Officer to join our Dogs team to facilitate the swift and successful placement of dogs into suitable permanent or foster homes while providing exceptional customer service and support to both adopters and foster carers.
Responsible for overseeing current cases and ensuring rapid and appropriate outcomes our Pet Matching Officers will;
* Efficiently match dogs with suitable permanent or foster homes based on individual needs, personalities and adopter or fosterer lifestyles
* Assess foster carers, customer and pet needs during the matching process to ensure successful placements and provide tailored support
* Develop and implement rehoming strategies for any long term or high need dog, considering their individual needs and characteristics to swiftly get them in to appropriate homes.
* Provide skilled support to address any challenges and enhance adoptability.
* Collaborate with other departments and teams within the organisation to ensure effective foster and rehoming outcomes.
* Work with our Intake & Rehoming Specialist where care, behaviour or veterinary support is required.
By providing exceptional customer service to pet seekers and foster carers they will create a welcoming and engaging environment handling general enquiries and resolving issues effectively ensuring accuracy, data privacy and confidentiality at all times.
In return you will receive a starting salary of £23,400 - £24,826 per annum, depending on experience, which will be complemented by;
* 36 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays) rising by 1 day each year to 40 days after five years
