Entry Criteria: GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above.
The successful candidate will enrol on the Level 3 Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician (MOET) apprenticeship, which will commence in September.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who wishes to develop a career in the field of Engineering. For the duration of the apprenticeship, you will gain practical experience and develop theoretical knowledge whilst obtaining formal recognised qualifications through a local learning provider. The training will be electrically biased, but the role encompasses a broad spectrum, allowing you to develop both your electrical and mechanical skills.
Responsibilities:
* Develop an understanding of the importance of safety and quality within a manufacturing work environment.
* Day/block release to a local college to acquire an Electrical Engineering qualification.
* Demonstrate compliance with working within the Company Mission, Vision and Values whilst representing the Company within a learning environment.
* Work alongside experienced engineers performing proactive and preventative maintenance, including fault finding and repair.
* Develop skills while carrying out breakdown/planned maintenance on equipment.
* Complete paperwork accurately and in a timely manner as instructed by the company, including daily maintenance check sheets and job cards.
* Work closely with the Engineering Managers to continually improve operations, driving improvements in quality, cost, and safety.
* Undertake Internal and External Training as requested.
Qualifications:
* A genuine interest in developing a career in engineering.
* A good level of computer literacy is required for this role.
* A professional individual with a willingness to learn and a ‘can-do’ attitude.
* Diligence and responsible behavior in accordance with Health and Safety legislation relating to the apprentice’s responsibilities.
* A self-disciplined approach to studies, timekeeping, and attendance in the workplace.
* Commitment to working within the Company Mission, Vision & Values.
