We are currently recruiting for a Rewind Operative to join our Production team based at our Boston site. This role is both permanent and full time, working on a double day shift or triple shift.
Key Areas of Responsibility
1. Produce finished reels in accordance with the Rewind Manual
2. Have a clear understanding of shift patterns and importance of good timekeeping
3. Be aware of Coveris responsibilities within the label industry, and the importance of giving clear information
4. Adhere to company policies, procedures and systems within area of responsibility. Activities include health & safety, dignity at work, hygiene, SOPs etc.
5. Demonstrate an active engagement with constantly looking for ways to improve the process to drive commercial benefit
6. Participation in company Continuous Improvement (CI) activities
7. Finish printed jobs into customers’ specifications whilst checking quality due to this being the last inspection before the customer sees the labels
8. Reading and understanding job bag
9. Ensure the core labels have correct information. Outer labels are to detail correct information and should be in numerical order
10. Keeping high standard of presentation of finished goods to customer
11. Minimise Downtime
12. Operate at or below make ready and running waste targets
13. To maintain quality level through a production run ensuring consistency is equal to original QC
14. Accurate input of all information onto Prism and Shoplogix as per training given
15. Keeping within accepted levels of spoilage for areas within your control
16. Any other duties required to meet the prevailing needs of the business
