The Role As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for leading a children's residential home, ensuring it is a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment for young people. This role requires a strong leader who is passionate about making a difference and committed to delivering outstanding care.You need resilience, patience and a strong commitment to the young people and the staff that look to you as their leader. Lead & develop a team of dedicated care professionals Create a warm, stable, and therapeutic environment for young people Ensure high-quality care and compliance with all statutory regulations Work closely with a strong network of professionals, families, and local authorities Champion safeguarding, well-being, and positive outcomes for all young people What We're Looking For: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it) Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (Essential) 3 years' experience as a leader/deputy or manager in a children's home (Essential) A strong understanding of childcare legislation & therapeutic approaches A leadership style that is nurturing, inspiring, and empowering A Full UK Driving License Fundamentally, we are looking for someone with a proven track record of leadership, whose personality and enthusiasm shines through. Someone who has demonstrated resilience, perseverance and the ability to lead from the front.
