Cover Manager
Are you an experienced Cover Manager looking for a new challenge?
U-Educate are currently recruiting for a Cover Manager to work in a secondary school based in Willenhall, WV12. The role is a full time, temp to perm contract due to start as soon as possible.
Job Description
* Receive messages from absent staff and organise appropriate cover arrangements
* To book supply staff when required giving due regard to the subject requiring cover
* To cover classes yourself when cover isn't available.
* Be required to be a on call cover supervisor for the school on a day to day.
* To line manage and deploy "in house" cover supervisors on a daily basis
* Enter planned absences into an appropriate database system using the information provided
* directly from appropriately authorised requests on a daily basis;
* Enter any new external supply staff onto the Management System;
Requirements
* Business and Administration Qualification preffered but not essential
* Experience within an administration role
* Ability to pass an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check to work with children
* Up to date Safeguarding Training (You can undertake a free course with U-educate if you have not got a safeguarding certificate dated within the last 12 months)
