Higher Level Teaching Assistant - Fountain House School - Leeds Salary
£22,987 p.a. DPEYour Teaching career with Five Rivers Child Care starts here. We are looking for Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our school in Leeds. You will work with an experienced team in a culture where children are respected, listened to, and involved in as many decisions as possible.
As a HLTA, your day will be varied and exciting. You will be able to support our teachers by assisting in the classrooms or out in the community whilst following a flexible structure and helping our children and young people to unlock their passion for learning. You will be based in our Ofsted registered school but may also support our 1 ACE provision locally.
You will work within a Trauma-informed practice model where we can support and follow a therapeutic practice.

Our Team at Fountain House School - Leeds
Fountain House School is a small, intimate, calm, and well-organised learning environment that creates a safe, nurturing atmosphere where pupils can learn, work and play. It is the education arm of a tripod-integrated service Five Rivers Childcare provides, including residential, clinical, and education.
We are based in Leeds, and our children are aged between 6-14 with SEMH needs, who only access the KS1 and KS2 national Curriculum. Our school provides a bespoke curriculum that supports the growth and development of the whole child.

Term Time, this goes in line with the local authority
Our full-time hours are 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:30 am - 04:30 pm

Requirements
Good written and IT skills.
Able to communicate with children, colleagues, and external customers.
Able to actively listen to others.
Valid Driving Licence – this is essential for this role
