Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager / Area Sales Manager required to join a leading compressed air supplier.
The successful candidate will work remotely, predominantly covering Northants, developing new business opportunities and managing key accounts via distribution channels and OEM customers. You'll be selling compressed air equipment including compressors, nitrogen generators, blowers, dryers, and associated compressed air products into various industries.
The ideal candidate must have experience in selling, servicing, or managing key accounts within the compressed air sector. This includes products such as compressors, vacuum pumps, filtration systems, blowers, dryers, nitrogen generators, or related compressed air technologies.
Candidates with experience in related fields such as HVAC, industrial refrigeration, or pneumatic systems are also encouraged to apply. Additionally, Compressor Service Engineers looking to transition into sales roles will be considered.

£35,000-£45,000 depending on experience

Role Responsibilities
1. Manage a number of key accounts in compressed air distribution channels and OEM customers.
2. Grow existing relationships and develop new business selling compressed air products and services.
3. Maintain new compressor sales with demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation to achieve targets.
4. Work closely with the compressed air Service Department to ensure an excellent standard of after-sales service is provided.
5. Liaise with various engineering departments.
6. Fully remote, covering Northants, working out of the office near Corby when not on the road.
Requirements
1. Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Territory Manager, Field Sales Representative, Technical Sales Engineer, or similar within the compressed air sector.
2. Compressor Service Engineers looking to transition into sales roles will also be considered.
3. Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed and grow with a reputable company.
4. A technical qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND, or Degree would be advantageous.
5. Knowledge of the compressed air market such as compressors, vacuum systems, filtration, blowers, dryers, nitrogen generators, or similar products/services is essential.
6. Full clean driving license and willingness to travel across Northants and commute to the office near Corby daily.
7. A technical engineering aptitude with experience selling engineering products or services focusing on developing new compressed air business opportunities.
