SEN Teaching Assistant Role
We are in need of a SEN Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible at one of our partner SEN schools in the Peterborough area. The role is a full time / permanent position.
Young people ages 7 to 19 with a range of special education needs, including SEMH, communication and interaction, sensory and physical, and cognition and learning, are the focus of this school.
Expectations of the role:
1. Have the students' independence, knowledge, skills, safety, and well-being in the highest regard.
2. Ensure that the students have access to a variety of activities that cater to their special requirements and allow them to maintain independence.
3. Be active and prepared to stand all day.
4. Be resilient and ready to deal with challenges.
5. Establish high standards for student achievement and prepare them for transition to adulthood.
