About the Role
Reporting in to the Deputy Manager, our care team leaders play a vital role in our Homes. By helping us deliver the highest quality care, you'll enhance every day for our residents. You will:
1. Inspire and motivate your team and other staff in all aspects of the day-to-day home activities
2. Lead by example, setting the pace and the standard
3. Praise and recognise good performance
4. Be able to challenge poor performance and report problems to the Home Manager
5. Promote the company ethos of quality care delivery and strive towards recognition from awarding bodies and outside agencies
6. Promote accountability of staff for their actions
7. Adhere and ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures
8. Supervise and mentor staff, giving assistance and guidance where required
9. Maintain and improve professional knowledge and competence
About You
You're proactive in solving problems, an inspiring care team leader and motivating to your team, drawing on your previous experience working in care. You work on your own initiative to manage problems and have the confidence to challenge and raise issues. You set a great example and encourage accountability of your care team for their actions. You're a supportive and inspiring mentor, who's always on the lookout for ways to enhance performance. You're a team player, who's outstanding in your own field with bucket loads of respect for your colleagues.
