We are looking for a Mapping Team Leader to join the Frontier team, based at Hermitage on a permanent, full-time basis. We are open to hybrid options for this role, with the right candidate working 3 days on site and 2 days from home. The successful candidate will proactively lead, motivate and support the team and take ownership of delivering our digital data products. Providing exceptional service will require a person with an adaptable approach, great communication skills and the ability to collaborate closely with stakeholders. The Mapping team process GPS, soil survey and nutrient data to create management maps for growers. These maps enable growers to make informed management choices on their cropping choices and product application. Data is processed using in-house software alongside QGIS, MS Office and other mapping packages. Cycle to Work Scheme, employee retail discount scheme and free eye test vouchers About You Experience of supervising and motivating a team is preferable Knowledge of agricultural industry would be advantageous but not essential Ability to communicate at every level with a strong customer focus Excellent IT skills including Microsoft office, Power BI Demonstratable critical thinking and proactive problem-solving skills Able to work on own initiative, drawing conclusions and managing own workload Able to develop effective and supportive relationships with colleagues and customers Focused on doing the right thing for customers, colleagues and ourselves Self-motivated and tenacious Flexible approach to work and managing changing priorities An effective team player Your Role As a Mapping Team Leader your role will involve: Overseeing and ensuring inbound NRM sampling data reaches our system successfully and troubleshoot technical issues Organising, prioritising and monitoring work flow and schedules for the team Taking ownership of GPS data processing using in-house software, third party software and MS Office packages Contributing to the creation and implementation of best practice, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to improve operational performance Supplying weekly/monthly updates reports and statistics as required Understanding and delivering exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders Communicating with our customers in relation to their requirements Working collaboratively with our Technical Lead on team training & technical development.
