Our client is searching for an experienced and passionate Veterinary Surgeon to join their team at their small animal practice in the delightful town of Telford, nestled within the scenic beauty of Shropshire. With its vibrant nightlife, diverse culinary scene, rich history, and thriving arts and culture, Telford offers a fantastic lifestyle. Conveniently situated near the M54 and M6 motorways, Telford is also close to Birmingham, offering excellent train links, and two nearby airports.
For nearly three decades, our client has been a cornerstone in providing exemplary animal care, forming an integral part of a larger veterinary group serving the county. Their practice offers a spacious and well-equipped working environment, including a surgical theatre, prep room, and state-of-the-art technology such as digital X-ray, ultrasonography with Doppler capabilities, endoscopy, ECG, and a comprehensive in-house laboratory. They are an ISFM cat friendly clinic and are RCVS Accredited.
You will work alongside an experienced and supportive team, including certified RVNs and staff with expertise in various areas such as emergency and critical care, anaesthesia, feline nursing, and behaviour. In addition, they have veterinarians with certification in orthopaedic surgery, exotics, imaging, medicine, and a special interest in ophthalmology. A visiting cardiologist enriches the team with expertise in echocardiography and ECG.
The successful candidate will be an experienced and passionate Veterinary Surgeon with exceptional surgical and medical skills, capable of handling sole charge responsibilities. The Rota:
• Full time role - 4 day week between 9am and 6.30pm
• Saturday rota between 9am and 5pm
• No OOH
• Part time applications will be considered
