Part-Time Guest Speaker Manager (2 Year Fixed-Term-Contract)
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a prestigious and premium education offering, and to be instrumental in the success of securing guest speakers to delight and inspire students. This is a 3 day per week, 2-year fixed-term contract.
Responsibilities
* Identifying, securing, and building strong relationships with guest speakers;
* Working closely with internal teams regarding all aspects of guest speaker booking and logistics coordination;
* Managing all guest speaker administration and contracts whilst ensuring terms and fees are negotiated accordingly;
* Creating and retaining strong relationships with guest speakers and academic professionals to ensure long term collaboration and participation;
* Thinking outside of the box in relation to engaging relevant speakers and helping to enhance the quality and diversity of all educational offerings;
* Managing the speaker budget and be responsible for all records relating to the speakers.

Experience
To be successful in this role you will have a great passion for inspiring young people through education. You must enjoy networking and developing a black book of contacts in order to secure potential speakers, including lecturers, academics, and professionals. You must have a proven history of building strong working relationships, interacting on the phone to build rapport and engage with others for long-term collaboration. Strong organisation is required for managing the logistics and administration of guest speakers, alongside keen negotiation and influencing skills. You will be a team player with excellent written and verbal communication abilities. You will be self-motivated, organised, and good at time management and relationship building with a good understanding of the educational sector.
Location
Our client is based in East Oxford. This is a part-time role of 3 days per week and is a 2-year fixed-term contract with the opportunity to go permanent. There will be some travel within Oxford/London/Cambridge and potentially outside the UK on occasion if required.
You must have the full right to work in the UK as sponsorship is not available for this position. You must be able to commit to the length of this contract.
