We’re looking for a Quality Manager to join us on our continuous journey of true nourishment.
Purpose
To recommend, establish, monitor, and manage improvements to systems that will ensure product and process quality standards meet Wagamama's expectations, legal requirements, and established industry standards for the central production unit.
Responsibilities
1. Control and implement the quality management system, ensuring compliance with all legal, regulatory, and Wagamama requirements.
2. Define and maintain product and process specifications and challenge factory processes.
3. Contribute to NPD processes, develop, and launch products that meet Wagamama's expectations.
4. Deliver and maintain third-party accreditation standards.
5. Ensure robust non-conformance management processes to deliver necessary improvements and identify root causes.
6. Monitor customer feedback and complaints to ensure customer expectations are met.
7. Provide expertise on food quality, safety, science/technology, and due diligence.
8. Regularly monitor and audit all aspects of the quality management system.
9. Ensure all suppliers meet approval requirements and maintain records to prove BRC certification.
10. Use supplier and raw material knowledge to identify potential/emerging integrity risks throughout the supply chain.
11. Proactively drive ways of working and results for robust governance.
12. Achieve and maintain BRC Grade A status.
13. Maintain and improve H&S and hygiene standards.
14. Manage site suppliers and the supply base.
15. Develop team members.
Key Skills and Personal Attributes
1. Food-related degree or equivalent experience.
2. Regulatory knowledge and awareness of food legislation.
3. Motivated team player.
4. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
5. Full driving license and flexibility.
