We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic pharmacist to join our established, friendly pharmacy team on the West Middlesex site.
You will be responsible for overseeing the management of Patient Services, with an emphasis on providing clinical leadership in this area.
This is an ideal opportunity for a motivated pharmacist who is keen to build on their management skills and help develop Patient Services to meet the changing needs of the Trust.
Main duties of the job
Key responsibilities include:
* Ensuring the provision of a high quality, patient focused dispensing service.
* Providing clinical and professional leadership to all dispensary staff.
* Supervision of the training and development of pharmacists, trainee pharmacists and other members of the team.
* Working collaboratively with the Dispensary Management team to co-ordinate the day to day management of staff within Inpatient and Outpatient Dispensary services as necessary.
* Provide a clinical pharmacy service to a designated ward.
* As a valued member of the pharmacy team, full support will be given to your continuing professional development, including further post-graduate education.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
* Responsible for the management, development, monitoring and professional/clinical leadership of all aspects of the Patient Services section of the Pharmacy Department via a team of directly accountable staff.
* Ensures that services are delivered to a high standard in a safe and cost effective manner according to relevant legislation, professional standards/requirements and local strategy.
* Responsible for the oversight of all dispensary based clinical trials.
* Contributes to the operational and general management of the pharmacy department in conjunction with other principal pharmacists and performs an active role in the strategic development of pharmacy services and medicines management initiatives.
