We are now looking for a Tour Operations Manager to join our dedicated team in Four Marks, East Hampshire (near Alton) and be part of this exciting journey.
Key Responsibilities
As a Tour Operations Manager, you will play a vital role in the smooth running of our business.
Your responsibilities will include:
Negotiate, plan, and manage logistics, including flights, trains, coaches, hotels, and restaurants, ensuring cost efficiency and high quality.
Oversee the operations team, effectively distributing workload to maintain efficiency and minimise stress.
Ensure financial accuracy, including invoicing, tour pricing, and budget control.
Maintain strong relationships with tour guides, managers, and destination partners.
Research and secure the best hotels, excursions, and experiences to enhance our luxury tours.
Manage pre-tour documentation and ensure seamless coordination with all stakeholders.
Lead and mentor the operations team, providing training and regular performance reviews.
Handle emergency callouts and ensure smooth operations outside office hours when required.
Represent the company at industry events, networking opportunities, and FAM trips.
About You
Were looking for someone who is/has:
Strong numeracy, literacy, and negotiation skills.
Significant experience in tour operations and an understanding of luxury travel clientele.
Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively to avoid unnecessary overtime.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team.
Fluency in an additional language is advantageous.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
