Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and versatile Creative Operations Manager to join our growing team. This role is vital to ensuring seamless workflows in pre-production, production, and post-production while driving client acquisition and increasing sales. The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver with a knack for organization, leadership, and an eye for sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Pre-Production
1. Collaborate with clients to refine project scopes, ensuring creative and logistical needs are met.
2. Develop detailed project timelines, budgets, and shot lists.
3. Coordinate location scouting, talent bookings, and necessary permits.
4. Prepare production briefs and facilitate team meetings to align on project objectives.
2. Production
1. Act as the primary on-site coordinator during shoots, ensuring smooth execution.
2. Oversee crew logistics, manage resources, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve production challenges to maintain efficiency.
3. Post-Production
1. Organize and manage raw footage, ensuring timely delivery to editors.
2. Facilitate communication between clients and the editing team for revisions and approvals.
3. Maintain a well-organized archive of project files for future use.
4. Sales and Marketing
1. Identify and pursue new client leads through networking and digital channels.
2. Develop compelling proposals and pitch decks tailored to client needs.
3. Plan and execute marketing campaigns, including social media, email outreach, and content creation.
4. Collaborate with the creative team to showcase Mactools Visual’s services and past work.
5. Operational Efficiency
1. Implement tools and systems to optimize workflows across all production stages.
2. Monitor project deliverables, deadlines, and team performance metrics.
3. Build and maintain relationships with vendors and collaborators to enhance service offerings.
Qualifications
1. Experience in creative production, project management, or sales within the media industry.
2. Deep understanding of pre-production, production, and post-production processes.
3. Strong organizational, multitasking, and leadership skills.
4. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello) and familiarity with editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere).
5. Background in sales or marketing is a strong asset.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
