Long- Term teachers are working with a fantastic SEMH school based in Wiltshire, that supports children aged 8 - 19. The school is seeking an experienced subject specialist who can teach from KS2 - KS4. You will be an engaging practitioner and passionate about developing language and reading skills for all of their students. No matter the accreditation which is best for the child to pursue, they maintain high aspirations for their children regardless of their learning journey and don’t underestimate the importance of qualifications to provide the children with life chances and opportunities. You will also be able to deliver maths and contribute to the wider curriculum. This is essential in a small team. The school use an incredible therapeutic approach to their learning, following the UK curriculum through creative, outdoor learning. Prior to your application it is paramount that you have at least 3 years experience teaching within either a primary or secondary school in the UK, furthermore teaching students with SEN. At times students will display challenging behaviour, so it is essential you are confident to de - escalate with a calm, controlled manner.
