Job Description
* Process and review in a timely and accurate manner all aspects of payroll.
* This includes, but is not limited to, accurately processing SMP, SPP, SSP in compliance with HMRC rules and company policies and procedures.
* Work with the Head of Payroll to design payroll processes, procedures, and approaches for consistency, accuracy, and compliance.
* Collaborate closely with the Finance Team to own payroll period end, including posting payroll journals.
* Assist in managing relationships with external Payroll and T&A providers.
* Process, check, and pay all personal expenses incurred by team members.
* Stay current on regulations, benefits changes, and labour laws impacting the payroll process, ensuring compliance for all payroll tax jurisdictions.
* Build excellent relationships with all stakeholders to provide team members with a first-class payroll experience.
* Work with the Head of Payroll to review, implement, and communicate new releases within the payroll software.
* Check payroll reports and take ownership of investigating and resolving all payroll queries.
* Assist in the preparation of relevant management reports, metrics, and statistics as needed.
* Ensure all payroll regulatory filings are completed timely and accurately.
* Understand pension auto-enrolment requirements and manage the implementation of employer automatic enrolment duties.
* Manage, process, and review salary sacrifice schemes.
* Manage and process Payroll Year End, P11Ds, and payrolling benefits.
* Any other reasonable request.
