Manufacturing Operative - Hengoed
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Manufacturing Operative to join our client in Hengoed. In this role, you will be responsible for manufacturing PEG-based products in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate safely, ensuring your own safety and that of others in the workplace.
* Dispense raw materials and operate the computerised dispensing system accurately.
* Collect and relocate materials from storage as needed.
* Maintain accurate stock records, ensuring timely data entry into the JD Edwards system.
* Operate a variety of manufacturing equipment and processes according to Job Card instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
* Complete all documentation promptly and accurately to meet regulatory standards.
* Calibrate equipment as per the set schedule and complete reports accordingly.
* Maintain cleanliness of manufacturing areas and equipment to prevent cross-contamination .
* Safely operate forklift trucks to transfer materials and products within the facility.
* Adhere to all Health & Safety protocols and use provided safety aids.
* Support the training of new team members.
* Carry out additional tasks as required by the Team Leader or Manufacturing Manager .
Required Skills & Knowledge:
* Strong understanding of GMP principles .
* Ability to operate, disassemble, and rebuild manufacturing machinery .
* Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations .
* Manual handling skills and awareness of best practices.
* Forklift truck driving experience.
* Understanding of chemical handling and associated safety precautions.
