Portsmouth - Hybrid Working (4 office and 1 WFH ideally) - £45-60k DOE - New brief for a highly experienced and skilled qualified accountant Client Manager, specialising in GP practices. The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator, capable of handling all aspects of account management, including presenting in front of clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the preparation of accounts for GP practices.
* Oversee the preparation of:
o Accounts for limited companies, LLPs, partnerships and sole traders.
o Self-assessment income tax returns and corporation tax returns.
o Superannuation Tier 1 and Tier 2 forms.
* Tax planning and pension planning for GPs, locum doctors, consultants in private practice and other medical professionals.
* Supervise and oversee the work of junior staff, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
* Offer proactive advice on all aspects of tax and accounting to clients in the medical sector.
Requirements:
1. ACA or ACCA qualification ideal - strong QBE’s considered.
2. A minimum of 10 years of experience working on GP accounts, with a strong understanding of the healthcare sector, particularly NHS operations and private healthcare income streams.
3. Exceptional proficiency in accounting software, including Sage, Xero, and Iris.
