* Program, set up, and operate CNC Milling Machines, ensuring processes are safe and efficient.
* Read and interpret engineering drawings for programming, setting, and manufacturing to deliver right-first-time products.
* Create layout sheets to document tooling, setups, and machine parameters, enabling consistent and repeatable outcomes for yourself and others.
* Maintain high standards of work independently, meeting deadlines and self-verifying the quality of work using a variety of measuring tools.
* Assist and train other operators, sharing your expertise and skills.
CNC Miller Profile
1. A time-served apprenticeship is preferred but not essential.
2. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in programming and operating 3, 4, and 5 Axis CNC machines.
3. Proficient in Heidenhain controls; additional experience with Fanuc controls is an advantage.
