Science Teacher - Alton, Hampshire

This exciting role offers a competitive salary of £30k to £50k per year, with a start date from Easter 2025 or September 2025. The position is full-time, with the potential for a permanent contract after a probation period. Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for KS5 specialism).
* Encourage curiosity and a passion for scientific inquiry through practical and theoretical learning.
* Assess, monitor, and provide feedback on student progress.
* Maintain high expectations for behaviour and academic achievement.
* Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.
* Support extracurricular activities such as Science clubs or STEM projects.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues and engage in professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Experience teaching Science in a secondary school setting.
* Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics.
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
* A commitment to creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
* Have an Enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
