About the Role As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work 1:1 with a child in an ARP class. The child is deaf (non-BSL), has autism, and is pre-verbal. They require someone with experience and a nurturing attitude to help them thrive. You will play a vital role in supporting their personal and academic development. Key Responsibilities • Provide 1:1 support tailored to the child’s needs .• Help with social, emotional, and sensory development. • Work closely with teachers and SENCO to implement individual plans. Requirements • Experience working with SEN children, especially autism. • A patient and nurturing approach. • DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
