At Magna, our vision is to create great homes together. We have ambitious plans and are seeking creative, aspirational, and talented people to join our fast-paced, adaptable, and highly collaborative environment.
The role & what you take care of:
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our Customer Services and Home Experience team. This diverse role involves performing grounds maintenance duties in communal areas, conducting regular inspections of our sewage treatment plants, and providing responsive services to unblock, clear, maintain, and repair sewage treatment plants. Additionally, the role includes clearing and unblocking drains and gullies, as well as executing a gutter clearing programme for our properties.
The successful candidate will also be part of our Keyholder rota to provide emergency out of services cover.
What you need to be successful:
Primarily working within a team of two, you will also collaborate closely with other colleagues across the wider team and service. Experience in providing grounds maintenance services is essential, and while prior knowledge of sewage plants would be advantageous, comprehensive training will be provided.
A willingness to learn, along with a positive and adaptable attitude, are crucial for success in this diverse role.
A PA1 and PA6A Qualification in pesticide application and A CS30 and CS31 Qualification in chainsaw use, although not essential, would be advantageous.
A full manual driving licence, with the ability to drive a vehicle up to 3.5T, preferably with the ability to tow.
This post is subject to a basic level DBS check. (Disclosure and Barring Service)
