🔧 What You'll Do:
* Plan & Schedule: Create and manage detailed production schedules to meet demand forecasts and operational targets.
* Process Improvement: Design and implement efficient manufacturing processes to reduce waste, improve quality, and boost output—particularly in upholstery.
* BOM Accuracy: Maintain and optimise Bills of Materials to support accurate planning and procurement.
* ERP & Capacity Planning: Use ERP systems to manage resources, track activity, and adjust plans based on capacity and seasonal needs (especially in the leisure market).
* Lean & CI Leadership: Drive continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives across the site.
* Technical Support: Provide hands-on support to production teams, troubleshoot issues, and ensure consistent performance.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align with Design, Procurement, Sales, and Operations teams to meet production and customer requirements.
* Safety First: Ensure all improvements and changes comply with Health & Safety policies.
* Insight & Reporting: Deliver clear insights and KPI updates to the Planning Manager using Excel and data tools.
✅ What We’re Looking For:
* Experience in production planning, process engineering, or manufacturing roles
* Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and BOM structures
* Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and formulas
* Practical understanding of manufacturing processes (upholstery experience is a bonus!)
* Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies
* A problem-solving mindset, with strong planning, time management, and communication skills
* Comfortable working cross-functionally and managing fast-paced priorities
🎓 Nice to Have:
* Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Business
* Experience in a high-volume or high-mix production environment
* Knowledge of data analytics tools
