NOTE - YOU NEED TO BE LIVING IN NORTHERN IRELAND TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE About the Role: Our client, a well known law firm are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Company Secretary to join our team. The successful candidate will support the governance and compliance functions while working remotely from Northern Ireland during Bermudian hours (10am/11am - 6pm/7pm). This unique opportunity is ideal for someone looking to gain experience in corporate governance within an international context. Key Responsibilities: Corporate Governance Support: Assist in the preparation of board packs, agendas, and minutes for board and committee meetings. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including filing annual returns and maintaining statutory registers. Document Management: Maintain and update corporate records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Liaison and Communication: Communicate with directors, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies as needed. Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support, including drafting correspondence and coordinating meetings. Research and Advisory: Conduct research on governance best practices and assist in advising the board on corporate governance matters. Qualifications and Experience: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Experience: Previous experience in a corporate governance or compliance role. Skills: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
