If you have a flair for sales, love building relationships, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!\n\nRole Overview:\nAs a Account Manager/ Internal Sales you be the go-to contact for technical inquiries, guiding customers through the product selection process and providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.\n\nWhat You'll Do:\n\nAct as a point of contact for technical enquiries and sales, negotiate high volume sales with existing and new customers who are of strategic importance to the organisation\n\nResearch and identify prospective construction projects and the appropriate individuals to build relationships with\nIdentify customer requirements through appropriate communication channels and refer if outside area of responsibility\nSupport customer in understanding what they want from their project to suggest appropriate products\nUse the Pricing Bands guidelines and pricing matrix to make decisions on what to quote the customer.\nSuggest appropriate additional products and services\nReview status of quoted projects\nIdentify open quotes and contact to enquire up to date customer requirements\nEnsure all lost quotes are captured in the appropriate system\nMaintain accurate contract files and diaries so that potential claims can be countered\nUnderstand and provide take-offs for manufactured material from drawings.\nDeal with customer queries by providing answers with technical confidence and product knowledge Develop and maintain positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business\n\nResearch and identify prospective customers\nOpen and maintain effective communication channels\nUndertake customer/site visits where necessary\nCommunicate customer feedback and information on customer and competitor activity to appropriate contacts within the organisation so that they can respond to changing market conditions and customer demands\nAnticipate customer needs to secure quotes before customers seek from our competitorsAcquire and maintain a thorough understanding of the market position for the company's products and services\n\nTo continually research and develop an in depth knowledge of the market position for the group's products and services\nTo evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the main competitors in the industry and recommend strategies to maintain the group's position relative to the competition\nIdentifying opportunities for added value projectsWho You Are:\n\nPrevious experience in a commercial role, preferably within the construction industry a strong advantage but not essential.
