We are looking to appoint an innovative and energetic teacher to join Bryanston Prep as English Lead. This is an exciting time to join our prep school during a growth period as we move towards Bryanston’s centenary in 2028. We are looking for someone with drive and enthusiasm to fill this role and join us on this exciting journey.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Prep School Leadership Team, as well as the Head of English at the Senior School, to establish an inspiring English curriculum for the Prep School.

We welcome applications from teachers from both the independent and state sectors. This position offers a fine opportunity to a charismatic and ambitious teacher and would be ideal for someone looking for their first or second HoD appointment. The person appointed will also have the opportunity to contribute to the pastoral, boarding, and co-curricular life of the School.
Bryanston School offers an exceptional working environment, which includes a competitive salary, state-of-the-art facilities, and wide-ranging prospects for development.
Closing date for applications: 9.00am on Friday 9th May
Interview date: Thursday 15th May

Applicants will be required to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The School will conduct an online search of any applicant invited for interview. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the School is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions (including those which are "spent" unless they are "protected" under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children.
