Job Description A exciting opportunity has arisen to join our busy Student Information Team as a Student Information Advisor based at the Newton Park campus. You will be responsible for responding to enquiries, supporting our student body and providing excellent customer service to our students, staff and visitors. About the Role The Student Information Team is one of the main student facing teams of the University, supporting all students, across all levels of study, throughout their time at the University. In this role, you will provide excellent service to students, responding to enquiries through our CRM system, phone, and in person. You will advise on various registry processes, offer support to international students, and liaise with other University teams. Key responsibilities include data entry, maintaining records, supporting graduation and enrolment activities, and updating team communications. About You You will have at least 5 GCSEs (including English and Maths), be educated to A-level standard, and have experience in a customer-facing role. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills are essential, along with proficiency in using computerised systems. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive, proactive approach, and the ability to handle busy periods calmly. Confidentiality, flexibility, and a commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion are crucial. Additional Information Some out of hours working will be occasionally required, including some evenings and specific weekends during the academic year (such as Graduation and Registration) Opportunities for taking annual leave during peak times of year (especially September/October) will be limited, and leave at other times will need to be assessed across the team so that service provision is not impacted Though primarily based at our Newton Park campus, work at other University sites will be required as part of the role. £26,038 to £28,081.
