Remuneration & Benefits:
* £28,000-£30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
* 37.5 hours per week. Hybrid working with three days office-based, two days from home
* Furniture and equipment contribution to home office set up

About the role
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, focused, and passionate Events and Customer Service Assistant to join us at our busy head office in Borehamwood and provide proactive and effective support across the department including, but not limited to customer service, event coordination and support, and business development.
This role offers a great opportunity to develop event coordination skills, streaming live virtual events to thousands via Zoom from our custom built, in-house media room while also building strong customer service experience focusing on customer care and keeping client success at the heart of everything you do.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about what they do and looking for a position with lots of variety. The right candidate will have a flexible working approach and be driven to support the company in developing the events and customer care area of the business as it grows.
This role will require you to work on average 2 weekends a month to support in delivering our educational events. A combination of overtime and time off in lieu is offered for all weekends worked.

* Technical understanding of audio-visual equipment including cameras, microphones, mixing desks and streaming software
Core responsibilities (but not limited to):
* Events Administration - Coordinate administrative tasks, including sourcing, stock managing and arranging the shipping of merchandise; tracking and reporting on registration and attendance; analysing post-event information, and recording/tracking for future use
* Media Room Management - Ensure our in-house media room is maintained to a high standard. Monitor equipment. Arrange and train the team in setting up and packing down events.
* Events Communication - Manage all event communications via CRM system to ensure clients are well informed and nurtured before/during, and post every event
* Event Delivery – Coordinate on the day delivery of our educational seminars and workshops to a high standard, including taking responsibility for a team of support staff, monitoring the live stream and ensuring presenters are catered to
* Business Development - Monitor event feedback and analyse patterns to report quarterly to the operations manager.
* Customer Care Support – Monitor and respond to two customer support inboxes in a timely and professional manner and conduct frequent check-in calls to our client base
