Join Our Team as a Careers Adviser!
We are looking to recruit a Careers Adviser to join our friendly community team in Manchester.
Salary: £26,485 – £30,012 per annum (depending on experience)
As a Careers Adviser, you will become part of a team that engages and provides careers support to 16–18-year-olds who are not in education, employment, or training (NEET). Your role will help them identify their career ambitions and move into fulfilling training and employment opportunities.
This varied, interesting, and rewarding role will be based at our office at The Millennium Powerhouse in Moss Side, though you will work flexibly in venues across the community in Manchester.

We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic individual who can build meaningful relationships with young people, helping them understand their career skills and strengths, overcome personal barriers, and create a better future for themselves. You will work closely with colleagues in partner organizations to help improve outcomes for young people. This will involve direct contact with young people, their parents/carers, and a range of professionals from support services, training providers, and employers across the city. Excellent communication skills, effective time management, and the ability to travel independently are essential.
