Hours: 38.75 hrs per week M:F between 7.00am:7.00pm (rota basis)

A well:established fleet maintenance company who have been established for over 100 years are now looking for a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor. You will look after a team of breakdown/service controllers.
The Fleet Maintenance Supervisor is tasked with leading and optimising the daily operations of the service department, ensuring timely and effective scheduling of servicing and repairs. The role focuses on maximizing first:time fix rates, reducing downtime, and maintaining the highest quality standards through meticulous planning, parts ordering, and resource allocation. Supervisory duties include managing team performance through coaching, real:time guidance, and regular one:on:one reviews. The position plays a pivotal role in driving operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and adherence to company standards.
About your new Fleet Maintenance Supervisor role:
: Prioritising workloads, coaching service controllers, resolving escalations, ensuring field engineer utilization, and collaborating with other teams for operational improvement.
: The Supervisor ensures proper documentation, monitors service quality through QC processes, and provides accurate updates on performance metrics.
: People management responsibilities involve setting objectives, handling performance reviews, fostering professional development, and promoting a positive, value:driven team culture.
: Key performance indicators (KPIs) include training outcomes, workload management, aged job resolution, and customer communication objectives.
The successful Fleet Maintenance Supervisor will require:
: Strong problem:solving, team development, leadership, communication, and prioritisation capabilities.
: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with contact center platforms
: Experience managing customer service teams and quality control processes highly desirable.
: This role requires a proactive leader capable of driving continuous improvement and aligning the team with the company's values and strategic goals.
: Any experience within the Automotive sector would be highly desirable
