Position: Customer Collection Specialist
Location: Chelmsford, Essex
Salary: Starting from £30,000 per annum
Overview
We are looking for an organised and personable Customer Collection Specialist to support our sales operation. This is a key role focused on preparing delivery, coordinating with internal departments and guiding customers through the final stages of their purchase.
Your main goal is to ensure a smooth, informative and memorable experience for each customer, while also handling important administrative processes to support the wider sales function.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee vehicle collection preparation, including quality checks and readiness.
* Conduct informative appointments, explaining features, after-sales services, and warranties.
* Address customer queries during collection and resolve issues promptly.
* Accurately process and manage sales documentation, including registrations, taxing, and ownership transfers.
* Schedule collection and coordinate with the sales, service, and parts teams to ensure seamless delivery.
* Maintain accurate customer records and transaction data in both digital and paper formats.
* Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry regulations.
* Provide clear communication from point-of-sale through post-delivery, and report regularly on collection activities.
What We're Looking For
* Background in sales support, administration, or customer service (preferably in the motor trade or Automotive industry).
* Familiarity with vehicle documentation and ownership processes.
* Clear and confident communicator, with excellent interpersonal skills.
* Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
* Comfortable using office software and admin systems (e.g., Outlook, Excel).
* Self-motivated with high attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
