As part of our continued growth, we are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a talented and experienced MET Technician to join our team at our Basingstoke bodyshop. About the Role As an MET (Mechanical, Electrical, and Trim) Technician, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional repairs to our customers' vehicles. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing, repairing, and replacing mechanical, electrical, and trim components for a variety of vehicle makes and models, including electric and hybrid vehicles. Your expertise will uphold our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. As an experienced ATA MET Technician, your key responsibilities will include: Performing all necessary mechanical and bodywork on allocated jobs. Dismantling vehicles in preparation for the panel shop. Conducting inspections, fault-finding, and diagnostic work. Ordering replacement parts as required. Reassembling vehicles with new components to their pre-accident condition. Ensuring all work meets our stringent quality standards and complies with safety regulations. Communicating effectively with the wider team on the status of repairs. About You We are looking for a skilled MET Technician with a background in accident repair, including experience and training in electric and hybrid vehicles. You should have a keen eye for detail and the ability to perform high-quality work under pressure. You will: Have significant experience as an MET Technician, working with a range of vehicle types, including electric and hybrid models. Be able to efficiently plan and manage your workload to meet agreed timescales. Perform all repairs in line with manufacturer specifications. Work effectively both as part of a team and independently, with minimal supervision. Be flexible, professional, and customer-focused, always maintaining high standards. Adhere to Health & Safety guidelines, ensuring a clean and safe work environment and wearing appropriate PPE. Hold ATA/NVQ qualifications in automotive repair and have training in electric and hybrid vehicles (we can support you in renewing these certifications). Why Join Us?
