Our Role
As a Senior Planner at Havas Lynx Group, you will apply your advanced strategic knowledge and inquisitive nature to run the overarching strategy for your client. You will work to guide the team to present solutions that are relevant, distinctive and of high quality, adding significant value to projects. You will work closely with the Accounts and Creative teams within your agency to build strong client relationships, demonstrating an advanced ability in presenting your ideas and looking for opportunities to bolster profitability.
What you can expect to be doing:
1. You will proactively ensure a thorough understanding of the brand, product and overarching strategy for the project you are assigned to – ensuring your research is appropriate to the campaign’s direction.
2. You will work with the wider team and your Head of Strategy to lead in strategic activity and ensure that the team’s outputs are in line with client expectations.
3. You will take responsibility for shaping and delivery of the research and insights for your own projects.
4. You will proactively liaise with the relevant Account Handler to identify how research findings will be used to inform campaigns KPIs.
5. You will use this information to plan, conduct and report on activity.
6. You will perform competitor analysis reviewing activity, behaviour and data to identify strengths and weaknesses.
7. You will make informed recommendations based on your findings that support the strategy.
8. You will develop strong collaborative relationships with Account Handlers and Creatives on your team, in order to push the brief to its full potential.
9. You will help to grow and utilise the strategic toolkit and have a strong knowledge of the research tools we use in order to support in any research you conduct.
10. You will proactively work to ensure that for the projects you are involved with, the strategy is considered and adhered to throughout all stages of the project’s life cycle.
11. You will adapt to working across digital projects, extensive research projects, brand development and workshops depending on your client’s needs.
What we’d like to see from you:
1. Previous experience in a similar role (agency experience is required).
2. Healthcare experience is required.
3. Previous experience of leading client relationships in a similar environment.
4. Experience of leading and mentoring others.
5. Able to critically assess the performance of an account and can proactively take action to address areas of underperformance.
6. Brand strategy expertise in a creative environment.
