The Opportunity: The Mastercard Foundation (MCF) Enterprise Officer plays a key role in developing entrepreneurial communities, with a focus on MCF scholars. This position involves curating Africa-focused programmes, organizing events like the Scholar’s Demo Day, and connecting scholars to a wider entrepreneurial network. The officer will promote entrepreneurship, foster community engagement, and support business development through tailored initiatives. This is a part-time, Grade 6 role, requiring 21 hours per week across 3 days. Hybrid working arrangements can also be considered on a non-contractual basis. This is a 2-year fixed-term post The salary for this post is £32,419 - £ 38,691 per annum. Your skills and attributes for success: Event Management: Expertise in curating and executing events, especially within the African business context. Communication Skills: Strong ability to connect with students, external stakeholders, and business professionals. Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented with a strong capacity for managing multiple tasks, events, and reporting responsibilities. Community Engagement: Proven ability to foster relationships and create a sense of community, particularly in supporting student entrepreneurs.
