We are an award-winning and growing financial services organization and have an exciting opportunity to join the business on a permanent basis as an Administrator, providing administration and customer service support to our sales department and external clients and 3rd parties. This is NOT a sales role and is very much a customer support role within the sales department, dealing with incoming calls from our existing clients with queries on our products, processes, and the mortgage sales process relevant to them.
The purpose of the Administrator role is to handle all incoming calls from our intermediary partners who have queries and/or administration requests regarding criteria information and support the sales process through administrative duties and managing our front-line telephone inquiries. We are a leading financial services provider with one of the most experienced management teams in UK lending within the buy-to-let mortgage sector. The role would suit candidates with an interest in working within the financial services sector. We will consider candidates currently working in a more general customer service, sales, or administration support role who have strong customer service skills and some administration experience. Experience in financial services, property, estate agency, or similar is an advantage but not essential.
This is a great opportunity based in Fleet, working the hours of 9 am – 5 pm, offering excellent benefits and an attractive salary of up to £27k plus an annual discretionary bonus up to 15% of salary. The Administrator will provide technical expertise to our intermediary partners and support the sales process through administrative duties and telephone inquiries, whilst building relationships and acting as the main point of contact. In summary, you will ensure all inbound traffic via phone, email, and live chat, as well as administration and support tasks, are managed efficiently and effectively, developing and maintaining relationships with internal contacts and departments while also providing support to Business Development Managers.
Reporting to the Sales Manager and working alongside 3 other members of the team, including other sales administrators and the Business Development Managers, the role will involve:
* Providing technical expertise to intermediaries on our products and underwriting criteria and technical IT support to intermediaries, solving intermediary portal issues.
* Taking responsibility for calls, emails, and Live Chat to resolve inquiries to the intermediary’s satisfaction.
* Maintaining the intermediary database and setting up new companies, ensuring processes for distribution routes are followed.
* Liaising with Operations for pre and post-sale queries.
* Working collaboratively with all areas of the business.
* Taking responsibility for regularly updating knowledge on company products, processes, and procedures to provide the best information at all times.
* Understanding and keeping up to date on our competitors’ products.
* Acting in a compliant manner always in line with regulatory guidelines.
* Supporting team members across sales and the whole business to meet service standards and achieve results.
To be successful in the Administrator role, you will have previous experience working within a sales support, sales, proactive customer service, or administration role, delivering proactive customer service while juggling a high workload and dealing with a range of clients and customers over the phone and via email or live chat. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential. You will be PC literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
