Your New Company An esteemed insurance company in search of a skilled professional to lead the Credit Control function. This role is located in Southwest London close to Richmond and will be paying a very competitive salary. Your New Role: As the Credit Control Manager, you will supervise and direct the daily operations of the Credit Control team, reporting directly to the Finance Director. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing efficient processes for all credit control interactions and related administrative tasks. Ensuring compliance with service levels and regulatory commitments, you will play a crucial role in minimising potential risks. Be prepared to engage hands-on, especially during peak periods. What You'll Need to Succeed: Supervise and assist with daily tasks, providing clear guidelines and support in terms of communication, training, and organisation. Regularly review team performance through 1-2-1s, coaching, call monitoring, and quality feedback. Establish and assess team KPIs to drive improvement. Continuously refine credit control processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Cultivate a customer-focused culture within the team and the wider organisation. Adhere to company values, systems, policies, and procedures. Manage key relationships with partners such as Payment Clearing, Premium Finance, and Debt Management services, including chargeback investigations. Skills and Experience : Knowledge of OpenGI or other Insurance Policy Management systems will be an advantage. Understanding of personal lines insurance is beneficial. Proactive and self-motivated, using experience to benefit the team and business. Willingness to assist with tasks of varying complexity.
