The DTS directorate is seeking a Solution Architects to join our team. This is your chance to play a pivotal role in shaping the technological landscape of local government services. Key Responsibilities: Design and architect cutting-edge technology solutions with budgets exceeding £5m. Provide strategic leadership and tactical guidance, ensuring robust and aligned business solutions. Engage with senior leaders, bridging the gap between technical and non-technical realms. Lead the development of integrated architectures spanning up to 18 months. Contribute to a technology roadmap that aligns with the council’s service strategies and priorities. We’re Looking For: Significant knowledge of solution strategy and architecture. Extensive experience with modern tools, technologies, and cloud platforms. Proven ability to lead design and architecture within large-scale projects. A track record of improving solution architecture maturity in a regulated environment. Educated to bachelor’s degree level or equivalent, with a Certified Architect qualification (TOGAF or similar).
