HRH Youth Services Manager | London, N5 1XB | 35hrs per week, Monday to Friday 12:00pm to 8:00pm, flexitime on days of youth offer| £34,980 Per Annum

Are you the right person for the job?
* A valid driving license and access to a vehicle
* Deliver up to 15 hours a week face to face session for young people
* Experience working with young people in community, voluntary, or care settings
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of individuals, particularly young people
* Knowledge of issues affecting young people, including mental health, education, social inclusion, and youth development
* Ability to develop, manage, and deliver engaging activities, projects, and programs tailored to the needs of young people
* Strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team, ensuring the successful delivery of services
* Commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion, ensuring all young people are supported and valued
* Must be able to provide appropriate support and guidance to young people, ensuring their safety and wellbeing
* Some evening and weekend work may be necessary to deliver activities and events
* You may be required to assist in general office tasks and attend staff or management committee meetings
* You will be required to assist with and attend HRH fundraising events, some of which may take place in the evenings or on weekends
* A DBS check will be required, and you will be expected to complete our safer recruitment process
* To work as part of a team, contributing to the smooth running of HRH Youth Services and all associated programs
What will your role look like?
* Lead and coordinate a range of youth activities, focusing on young people aged 10–19 in Highbury & Islington.
* Deliver programmes in line with the Service Level Agreement with Islington Council.
* Supervise and support youth workers, tutors, and support staff to ensure high-quality services.
* Set up and maintain safe, inclusive, and empowering operational systems for youth provision.
* Promote and support in-house services including counselling, sexual health, and fitness activities.
* Build strong partnerships with local networks and youth service providers to enhance opportunities.
* Champion professional development and training across the youth work team.
* Monitor outcomes using data systems like Upshot and ensure services are continuously improving.
* Manage budgets effectively, ensuring resources are used efficiently and deliver value for money.
* Represent the organisation at relevant forums, meetings, and management committees.
* Deliver direct support to young people, including guidance, mentoring, and signposting to specialist help.
* Seek new funding opportunities to expand programmes and create more positive outcomes for youth.
