External After Sales Manager
Our client is a leading company in the tooling manufacturing sector, seeking a dynamic and driven Service Sales Manager. Our client's products serve a variety of industries, including automotive, construction, and engineering sectors, offering cutting-edge solutions to meet the diverse needs of our clients.

Your role:
1. Achieve and exceed the net income sales targets.
2. Deliver service sales growth within allocated customers and geographical area.
3. Work in collaboration with all sales and operational teams to drive continued business growth.
4. Proactively sell service contracts, calibrations, and repair services to existing and potential clients in the tooling and manufacturing sectors.
5. Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships.
6. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the region, effectively managing your sales pipeline.
7. Conduct site visits to assess client needs and recommend appropriate service solutions.
8. Take responsibility for 'Key Account Management' with agreed customer accounts.
9. Increase and develop customer satisfaction through strong customer and account management.
10. Deliver service product and sales campaigns in conjunction with the Service Sales Manager and Business Line Manager within set timeframes.
11. Work with distribution partners to maximize the development of service sales opportunities.
12. Use and update sales and business platforms with all sales and other activities.
13. Work as part of the service sales team responsible for the strategic development of the UK service offering.
14. Prepare and deliver professional customer quotations in a timely manner.
15. Produce management information to report business activity on a monthly basis.
16. You will be remote with a dedicated territory. UK-wide travel will be required.
17. Undertake ad-hoc project work as required.
To succeed, you'll need:
1. Proven track record in sales within engineering/manufacturing.
2. Ability to make decisions in tough situations, take considered risks, and assume responsibility for those decisions.
3. Be self-starting, able to identify gaps and opportunities and work toward them.
4. Strong communication skills with both customers and colleagues, and being a valuable team player.
5. You will be based in the Midlands. In this role, you will cover the whole of the UK & Ireland.
