To be successful in this role you must have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a qualification in Social Work at degree level, and have post-qualified experience.

Essential requirements for the role:
* Provide high-quality social work services to adults, carers, and the community, in line with statutory guidelines and council policies.
* Complete Care Act assessments, reviews, care management, support planning, safeguarding, and Mental Capacity/Best Interest assessments.
* Manage complex caseloads involving risk assessment and needs identification, developing cost-effective, person-centered solutions.
* Foster independence and early intervention, building strong relationships with service users and enabling informed choices.
* Conduct safeguarding investigations, represent the Authority in multi-agency settings, and undertake duty responsibilities within the team.
* Participate in the AMHP rota (if qualified) and Practice Educator Level 2 role, contributing to team development and mentoring others.
* Utilize strong communication skills, manage conflicts, and ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping.
* Maintain relevant professional qualifications and registration, actively engaging in ongoing professional development.
What we are looking for in a Social Worker:
* Social Work England registration
* Eligible to work in the UK
* Hold a full UK licence
* Post-qualified experience
* Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
